Welcome to the ByteHearts × Ranovex AI Product Hackathon 2026 — a fully online, product-focused innovation challenge designed for students who want to build real-world solutions using technology, AI, automation, and creativity.

This hackathon is designed to simulate how modern startups and product teams build useful products under real constraints.

Whether you are building:

This hackathon follows an Open Innovation format.

Participants may build projects in any domain or category. Creativity and originality are encouraged.

Participants Must:

• Be currently enrolled students
• Use only projects they personally own or have rights to use

Existing Projects Policy

Existing projects are allowed, provided:

• The project is owned by the participant/team
• Participants clearly explain what they built, their contribution, Novelty, technical architecture, business value, and future scope.

Participants are allowed and encouraged to use:

• AI coding assistants
• Code generation tools
• Design AI tools
• No-code/low-code assistance

However, participants MUST:

• Understand the code they submit
• Be able to explain architecture and implementation
• Understand the business logic
• Understand APIs, workflows, and integrations used
• Demonstrate technical ownership during evaluation

Participants must submit:

Mandatory

• GitHub Repository Link
• Project Presentation (PPT/PDF)
• Demo Video

Optional but Highly Recommended

• Live Deployment Link
• Architecture Diagram
• Documentation

GitHub Repository Must Include:

• Proper README
• Setup instructions
• Project explanation
• Tech stack details
• Contributors list

Note: Early submissions are appreciated and may help reviewers evaluate projects more effectively.

Projects will be evaluated by industry professionals and technology experts.

Selected participants may receive:

• Portfolio enhancement opportunities

Participants are allowed to:

• Use external APIs
• Integrate third-party services
• Use pre-trained models
• Use AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.)

Participants are NOT required to:

• Train models from scratch
• Build foundational AI systems

Focus should remain on:

• Product usefulness
• Integration quality
• Innovation
• Execution

Participants retain ownership of their projects.

However:

• Outstanding projects may be considered for future collaborative improvement discussions with organizers
• Any collaboration will happen only with participant consent

The following are prohibited:

• Submitting copied repositories
• Misrepresenting ownership
• Fake demos
• Purchased projects
• Harmful or illegal applications

Organizers reserve the right to:

• Disqualify submissions
• Reject incomplete entries
• Request clarifications if necessary
